I'm a trained interior designer, and I built Pence Creative around one belief: designers shouldn't have to do it all alone.

After years working in interior design, I kept seeing the same thing. Designers spending their best hours buried in floor plans, renderings, client presentations, and admin work instead of the creative work they started their businesses for. That stretch of a project, the messy middle where everything is unfinished and scattered across files, is exactly where I do my best work.

These days my primary focus is partnering with interior designers as a Designer Virtual Assistant, and the distinction matters to me. I'm not an assistant who happens to work with designers. I'm a designer who understands the software, the deadlines, and the client pressure you're working under, so there's no learning curve, and nothing gets lost in translation.

As a former military spouse, I built my career on adaptability, resilience, and finding creative solutions under pressure. Those same qualities show up in every client relationship: calm, efficient, and always thinking one step ahead so you don't have to.

When I'm not deep in a rendering or building out a client presentation, I work with homeowners through Pence Creative's virtual interior design service, bringing the same approach to residential spaces across the country.
